HO hit the jackpot when Brendan and Steven were the main storyline. No other storyline has come close to their passion, or popularity. One day, these two soulmates will be reunited.

Brendan: "you made me believe the world can be good again... ", the most beautiful and touching confession that i ever heard... and thanks for the sharing ..love it so much..

"I can't do this without you"... Breaks my heart, everytime! And when Ste says it right before they are torn apart.. The echo between the two scenes breaks my heart and I think it is really brilliant! Emmett Scanlan is breath-taking, when you see him, so heart-broken, so real, so honnest and yet... You can't even start to imagine what Brendan could have been without his ruined childhood, how much of a fantastic man he could have been and that is what's worse. because even broken, he is such a compelling character! No one will equal him, he was by far the most complex, compelling, multi-layered character ever. I hope he comes back someday.

11 years later and they're still the endgame for me. I used to hate both characters. How abusive they were. But then when their backstory was explained, it made me realise that they're just 2 broken people. What's worse is that they got broken by the men who supposed to be every child's protector, their fathers. I love Ste's storyline with his other lovers, but him and brendan hits different. It was dark, destructive, but they healed each other. And i dont think Ste could ever love his other lovers the way he loved brendan.

We need Brendan back immediately

The writing on this show during this storyline was 👌 👏 epic, I had a hard time believing thos was hollyoaks

U know sometimes actually I couldn't understand what're they taking about and feel like this O_O when i don't get what happening in the romantic scenes ? The accent is a little bit hard to hear since English is my 2nd language . I don't expect to see every eps with subtitles, but could you please put the captain in Stendan's/ Brendan's conversations till Brendan exit ( just only ask if you have time tho). Anyway thank u for ur uploading and i like this heart breaking scene a lot ^^
