I think they didn't kill Brendan to have the door open to come back eventually, but it'll be at least a year or 2 before he would. From what he's said, he's taking time off and pursuing other projects soon. He's been here in LA for almost two months now. As I told Emmett, I agree with his decision to leave. It killed me, but having watched Brendan since the beginning, he's come full circle and it was just his time. I think he'll return only when Kieron decides to leave the show.

Its already aired one episode in one country, it starts this May in the UK :-)

I've been hearing that the show is kind of okay now, but some people don't like how Ste is handling life without Brendan then some people say he barely mentions Brendan. But if that is then maybe he is suppressing his pain. I don't think he'll ever really move on, even if the writers try to put him in another relationship, Brendan will always have his heart

We don't know. I would like to think Dec did find out and tried to visit him. That bus scene kills me every time! Then I remember when Ste thinks Brendan sexually assaulted Kevin and then later says he believes Brendan in the flats kitchen, Brendan tells him that he is going to Ireland to see 'his boys' in case they find him guilty. And I agree. I think they would have found out through Cheryl, who probably wanted to repay everything Brendan did for her by telling Eileen and Declan everything.

I'm in LA too. I work in editing. We just finished up Ironman3. I am aware of Emmett's pursuits. He is an actor. Actors don't want to be typecast and they want to spread their wings. I was only repeating what was told to me.

He is.Brendan technically committed suicide he knew he was going to get life after everything he admitted to so he pulled out a gun with no bullets what he did was gave the bullets to Cheryl and took the empty guy then pointed it at the sniper.The sniper guy thought he was going to fire at him so he can leg it so he shot first before Brendan could.

LOL Everyone always thinks if you work in "the movies" it is fun. Lots of times it is but most times it is long hours in an office just like anybody else. I edit and deliver dailies so at least I get to meet some of the directors, stars and other big name techs like Screenwriters, Cinematographers, Costume Designers...people like that. Good luck with your career! Just stay dedicated and you will be a success.

Brendan was a badden on the surface but did the most noble thing he's ever done at the end by protecting his sister Cheryl. 2 & a half years of Villanous ways then shows his good side in the end. I always wanted Brendan 2 go out showing the good side of him & he did. Emmett J. Scanlan will win "Best Soap Exit" at this year's "British Soap Awards" hands down.
