Say whatever you want about Pauly Shore, but that guy had some of the very BEST Comedy movies on the 90's. I watched each one multiple times in the theaters and I'd do it all over again. "Comedy" movies today aren't even in the same league,....well, most movies aren't. His movies were just FUN!

Not very fond of Sean Penn as a person but Pauly & Brendan always seemed like pretty cool dudes. Pauly might not be in the public eye as much as he would like but he was iconic for my generation & he has a lot to be proud of.

What kinda sucks for Paulie is that growing up at the Comedy Store makes him think he's inferior by default, compared to all the legends he's seen come up through "the store". Hard for us to understand where he's coming from. He's Paulie Shore, that's cool enough for me! His attitude is enduring.

The thing that stops Pauly to be a household name again and being considered for mainstream roles is that he's always trying to take everyone else into the past, he still wants to appeal to the cool youngsters and that ship sailed long ago, he doesn't seem to get nostalgia right, at least professionally, if he channeled that into something for the people that enjoyed his work, it would be a step up, for example, he looks a bit like Steve Guttenberg, and that man has been trying to make a Police Academy revival for decades now, Pauly's type of humor fits perfectly into that, Mahoney's little brother, it would be hilarious, that type of humor is not only great with older people but it would be a huge hit outside of the US

Many years ago I worked with a guy could have been Pauly Shores twin had same kind of hair even spoke like him! Our manager always thought he was being a dumb ass but that was his personality really cracked me up because he loved playing into it! :p Years later working in an auto factory I run into him still same guy lol. I loved Pauly's movies or movies he was in! Was one I always looked forward to seeing him in another movie with Pauly Shore! Like it would be funny if he made a training video on being the next Back Adam! :p
