I feel so bad for imhotep because he went through all of this pain by being mummified, gets trapped in amber, and he tries to summon a soul twice for the lady and all she does is leave him to die 😢 it just makes you feel sorry for him after seeing Rick and Evelyn working together and him and anack-sun-amun don't

I know the tragedy of Imotep being abandoned is the most significant thing here but can we talk about his reaction when Rick kills the King, because that is the perfect expression for when a plan for ultimate power - one decades in the making - utterly fails when you were so close to seeing it through

Only bc she knew Imhotep would be the only one that could resurrect her and she knew he WOULD do that. She wanted to escape from her marriage to the Pharaoh and death was the only way. I've read a lot of thoughts and explanations on this in the comments around the clips of these films. And I've gathered that she really was a coward in the end, never really loved Imhotep and needed him just to get her freedom. There was no true love, only lust.

Sucks because others did wanted to see Egyptians own imhotep against the Scorpion king woulda been epic.. but thay wanted mummy hunters own Brendan frasier because he was the main character in both of these movies.. I've picture two urban Super hero's who woulda take on the Scorpion king Spawn & blade if I pick out of the two it would be Spawn because also powerful like the Scorpion king & imhotep but it probably still goes the other way around got him saying to Brendan frasier as Rick Spawn: no let me take him out not you & Rick saying you sure because he's very dangerous Spawn to him yes you ve done enough Spawn goes in the Scorpion king's palace what happened?? He took Spawn's powers too like it was with imhotep so it probably still woulda repeat itself tho...
