I'm a Chelsea fan but I'm delighted that Liverpool have signed Balotelli as he is an exceptional player who not only brings talent to the premier league but also great character. And I think 16 million is a good deal

Good one brendan! He says as it is, no sugarcoating and no mario bashing either. Just facts. He shows confidence in mario and appreciates his obvious talent but at the same time kind of reminds him 'Remember who you are playing for kid and remember who is and always be the boss round here!'

Balotelli is one of the most overrated & inconsistent players on the planet, he is a phenomenal talent & is capable of pulling a rabbit out of the hat - when he wants to. I highly doubt he can ever fulfil his potential with the way he is.

Ballotelli could possibly help turn the teams fortunes around... Never got a chance to see the United game on (14/12/14) but I believe he was quite impressive throughout despite not scoring a goal. If you put things in context you find that Liverpool can't really be discriminated because they had 19 shots and 9 of which were on target . Full credit to De Gea by the way. If it's possibly for the owners of Liverpool to spend when the transfer window opens then they should look at buying a goalkeeper. Maybe that should be a priority .

16 million is a good price because Balotelli is a decent striker when he wants to be but he's too inconsistent and he has a huge attitude problem. I think Rodgers has a big job to get the man's head in the right place

It's a great chance for Balotelli. At Milan he was expected to carry the team and be a finished article when he clearly needs a few more years of work and nurturing. Liverpool can offer him that. If he messes this up though then he wont get many other chances. He is only just in the Italian national team and is no longer a player with potential since he is 24.
