Not sure, but if he's more durable, I'm all for him. Cade I think is just to prone to injury at this point and I think not only does it affect him physically, but it affects him mentally too.

Hoping the best for Cade, but our experience so far is that he's a champagne flute. A good QB is a football player, first.

He's a player no doubt...injuries aren't distributed equally.

It better be a competition! As said, Cade has been injured the last 3 years and in no way even looked good last year. And the tape I've seen on Sullivan, he's looked as good as any Iowa QB since Beathard, of course these were highlights, but Iowa QBs haven't had many highlights for a while. At this point I'm most excited for Sullivan to the the starter, he throws well enough and he can keep the chains moving. I don't know what the offense Time of Possession for the 23' season was, but with Sullivan would it be a stretch to see that increase by 5 minutes or more? Given that can you imagine how much better the defense would have been with that small improvement for the 23 team? What could that mean for the 24' defense?

Does Brendan bounce the football off the helmets of his and opposing linemen? Watch the replays of McNamara's last full season w Michigan 2021 - virtually EVERY single game at least once, some games multiple times the ball would shoot straight up waiting to be picked from McNamara thinking he is 6-8" taller than he is. It's freaking hilarious.

Yeah. Sullivan is the better choice, but we all know that is not how it works at Iowa. They will throw lil, fragile, ahort arrned 5 ft 11 Cade out there.

Cade is better cade done more for iowa than this new QB if the oline learn protection cadence wouldn’t went down if Brian ferentz was never OC Cade wouldn’t been crippled

Ouch - if McNamara is actually better, you need to release Sullivan to the portal. Cade is the check-down queen of college ball. He LOVES the safe dump off for one yard on third down when you need eight.

Sullivan is slow but he does have good feet. A runner he isn't but he is willing to run. His arm is okay but his release is pretty quick and decision making looks sound.
