I am disabled and if I am in too much pain to have a shower i use nivea biodegradable cleansing wipes its good for dry skin as well also dolgellau is pronounced doll geck i nearest i can get it as the English language doesn't a sound to describe the Ll in welsh .

For a good wipe down...try and find thicker wetwipes, I think Huggies has them, natural with a texture. There also exist washcloths wetwipes. Action sells them but they are not in the UK..poundshop will do the trick. Good luck!

i'd say water wipes are the best bet. bit pricey but 99.9% water with 0.1% fruit extract. amazing quality

What about a damp flannel in a sponge bag? Throwing away wipes isn’t great for the environment. You could have some liquid soap. Rinse it in your collapsible bowl.

On the topic of wet wipes pal, the jangro patient wipes in the tub are exceptional quality, strong construction smell fantastic and last my entire family ages, I get them from a company in Sheffield ace janitorial, happy carcamping ✌️ ♥

Back and body feels better 😌 just lying on it in car compared to old bed set up. Hoping new foam bed gives me a more Pleasant 💤. Plan to do a massive hike at day light. Getting away so helps with my well-being. Love the countryside air. Just the escape makes a huge difference even if short lived. Stay blessed and safe 🙏🏾🇬🇧 Solo Lady Car camper

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, Home Bargains do to huge body wipe like a wet wipe well it is a wet wipe, but adult size.

Big body wipes If you want the ideal. I use them after obstacle races etc. However, Aldi wipes are good cost value. Sainsbury's own are 'wetter' if you prefer that

The best wipes I've heard of are the Conti SoSoft wipes in conjunction with a skin cleansing foam. They are for washing patients when they are unable to get to the shower. So cant see why they would be a bad idea for car camping for a wash in the hills? Been loving your videos and I'm from Oswestry so nice to see someone from so close going to places I've been before also and have a good time

Hi, a fellow Oswestrian here! I too have had a few replies from Brendan recently. I find him a really nice,polite chap and informative too. Just letting you know, although you may have already seen them, that his first videos are of Shrewsbury then go on a bit further to Llanrhaeadr Waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy etc., gradually getting further away from his home. Really interesting for us locals!

FYI - when Public Hot Showers or Planet Fitness Gym is not available I stumbled upon wet filtered water wash cloth since I carry bleach between laundry mat I soak rinse ready to wipe for Another Day no residue fresh. Thanks for Sharing the Spontaneous Adventure.💪 👍👍⬆️. ☘️🚙☘️

Doll - gell - eye. The locals call it Doll for short. Next time you're in the area, try the Panoramic Walk in Barmouth, I'll be doing that sometime (might get the GoPro out for that). Hopefully you'll be back on the road in no time. Cheers again!!! 👍

some awesome car camping spots at black mountain pass in brecon becon and forest near horseshoe route for Pen Y Fan both in wales, just come from my winter car camp last week and i survived didnt freeze insteading was sweating! (had no heating)

@@BrendanExplores i took summer rated sleeping bag and duvet but had to dash the duvet away and slept with the sleeping bag wide open, it was way too warm, also had the back windows open a fist lenght, from that experience i know i can survive cold nights! defo check out brecon becon!

You can get wipes with 100percent water can't remember where tho I'm using that thermal stuff from toolstaion for window covers,they literally just push in flush if you cut them bit slightly bigger I'm thinking bout stapling black felt to mine maybe both side or least one

That's how the locals pronounce it, I asked some at the bus stop I was in at Barmouth. Its a learning curve getting the pronunciation right!

Well that didn't go to plan did it pal...😂😂 By the way my nan was welsh and its pronounced DOL-GETH-YOU.... ..!! With a spit like the Welsh do lol. You're a nice bloke Brendan & know things going against you now especially with the car troubles but chin up pal....things always have a strange way of sorting themselves out. Dolgellau is pronounced Dol (as in a girls doll) Gell (best way is to say Gel, not the hair stuff but as if you were beginning to say Get, hold the L and gently blow through your mouth) Au (just say I as in I am). So Doll-Gel(blow)-I. Can't wait until you visit Llanfair PG.

Grab some asda face wipes and tesco little rascal baby wipes much better quality than audi I say face wipes as they have better chemicals for your skin

We were honesty quite cosy that night 👍. The heating system and the double sleeping bag folded over made for a good sleep 🙂

I tried the 40w pipe heater that gets hot but doesn't change the temp in my little van and I was running that all night via an inverter off main car battery shame really maybe the 80w would do the job but don't think my car battery would handle that as that's 800w in 10 hours so would only leave 300w of battery to start the car no idea on voltage tho .having to run the car for couple of hours now to get the edge off

@@pandaww. yeh the 80w for me only really takes the chill out of the air so the 40w would definitely not be enough to warm up the space 👍 the electric blanket works great though!
