They're not that bad. I think it's because they are like moving around a lot, like jumping, walking around, running around from place to place, and they do some little dances, a lot, so they could lose their breaths you know. Especially Ross, he's a lead vocal and he sings the most out of the group, there you see, he's like jumping and running around on stage, it can make him lose his breath and stuff. They, especially Ross, sounds really good if they stay still.

Singing in a live performance is definitely going to be vastly different from singing in a studio. Why? Because in a studio, you can tweak everything to your desire and you have multiple chances to get it right. The difference with live is that the singer(s) is/are moving and facing the audience. Try to sing while dancing. You'll notice a huge difference. In addition, you only have one chance to sing the song if you're doing it live.
