Just to educate some of you. She's Laotian from the country of Laos 🇱🇦 . Siblings to Thailand 🇹🇭. Language and cuisine is quite similar but different in alot of ways. Alot of Laotian food flavors are very bold and packs a umpf. Not alot of ppl are ready for Laotian food flavors because of the pungentness. So when Laotian opens restaurants they open thai cuisine restaurants because that's what alot of ppl are familiar with.

The Ethiopian bread is called injera. It’s a fermented bread, which gives it a slight sour taste and it has a spongy soft texture.

The first lady is really one of the reasons its (usually) awesome visiting Mom-and-Pop restos and stores. Her vibe was amazing and they connect with their customers on a more personal level. They see them as people, not just customers. Also, food at boutique restos like that are usually far better than chain restos.

Hi Brennen & Jake! 👨‍🍳You eat Ethiopian food with injera bread. The sauce and flavors of the food soak into the injera, so basically there's almost no taste to the injera. If you lived in LA for that many years, why didn't you guys go eat all the Ethiopian restaurants on Fairfax aka Little Ethiopia. I ate there several times and the food there is completely authentic. There was a buffet there at one of the restaurants and it cost around $10 person.👍🏼

You were lucky to meet Air, next time you’re in there ask her to give you a back massage. Tell her KK sent you This restaurant is hands-down the best Thai food in Nashville. The family has been here for decades. I was lucky enough to go to their 40th year celebration, which is probably eight years ago. Next time you’re there get the red curry.
