After about a month of strenuous work, I was finally able to head out and railfan again. On this Wednesday, I decided to go to Baldwin Park to continue my series of videos along the San Bernardino Line. It was a rather hot and humid day but with the exception of that there was a rather nice handful of places to film here. Two crossings, one at either end of the station along with a parking structure and bridge over the tracks made for some very nice shots in my opinion.
Train 1 : Metrolink #323 with CabCar #643 & F59PH #868.
Train 2 : Metrolink #312 with MP36PH-3C #896 & CabCar #685. The engineer stopped the train just a little too close for comfort.
Train 3 : Metrolink #325 with CabCar #678 & F59PH #872. This train came into the station very hot !
Train 4 : Metrolink #314 with MP36PH-3C #902 & CabCar #661. Pretty neat crossing here running right through a four way street intersection !
Train 5 : BNSF O-SBDLAC9-29Z with Metrolink F59PHI #881, ES44DC #7753, & #7708. VERY RARE CATCH ! Especially the FRA Inspection Cars !!! Wasn't even expecting this train at all !
Train 6 : Metrolink #316 with F59PHI #876 & CabCar #649. I decided to make a change of pace and go overhead for Metrolink #316. The bridge here allows you to see way down the line looking west !
Train 7 : Metrolink #329 with CabCar #685 & MP36PH-3C #896. Some loud K2 horn action from the engineer !
Train 8 : Metrolink #318 with F59PH #871 & CabCar #690.
