I've had the honor of talking to Bret a few times. He's super cool, just a nice guy. No rockstar attitude whatsoever. Met his cousin Bobby at a few of Bret's solo shows. He ran the merch booth. Super friendly guy. It was an honor to meet him. It was cool thanking him for his service in person. Thank you to ALL past and present service men and women of the military. Along with first responders and all of those who give themselves to us, before themselves.

I will never be able to thank bret for everything he has brought to my life. He literally saved my life. He has given me happiness that money just can't buy. I lost my sister several years ago and because of bret I have so many memories with my sister that without his friendship i would not have had. He helped me through the hardest times of my life and I would not be here without his friendship , his kindness and strength that he gave me. Because of brets kindness and introduction to one of his closest friends his brother his protector I have been so blessed to have big John as a life long friend and brother. The friendship of ray ray and pete and jana rob all mean more to me than they could ever know. The memories the friendships the strength all starting back in the 80s at rockers in Phoenix Az were bret was in the early years of his career he was the kindest sweetest man that always makes you feel like you are the only person in the room and all these years later he has not let the good and the bad of being famous change him in any way. He is still one of the kindest human beings with a beautiful caring heart and a soul that reaches out and hugs you. The best part about bret is everything he has done for me he did just being himself. THANK YOU BRET FOR BEING MY FRIEND BUT MOST OF ALL THANK YOU FOR JUST BEING YOU.

Bret hasn't let "the machine" change him. My bands (back in the day) and his used to share the stages of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Bret is, and always will be, a down to earth Pittsburgh boy from Butler, PA

I am hearing this right now for the first time !!! 😡 And Guess what people I am that girl that song is about you can Google it !!! That IS NOT AT ALL WHAT HAPPENED ! Trust me I was there I was on the phone and I'm telling you what he is saying is all lies ! I am so furious and and sad and just heartbroken that I could be so thrown under the bus by the love of my life just to make him feel or look like the victim or manipulate his public ! I literally feel sick !!!
