From campaign perspective Alberic and Repanse are the best. Fun and interresting.

I find it strange that all factions aren’t able to craft their own banners for units. Say it was capped to 3-4 for each army. Greenskins have their scrap mechanic, Dwarves should have a similar themed forging upgrade system. Bretonnia should be able to craft banners that give specific buffs to unit types or generic banners. Louen needs to have +40 to diplomatic relations with other Bretonnian factions. I do think the tech tree which allows instant confederations to be a little broken considering the Empire system is a complete joke. I think that thematic changes need to be made for Repanse’s campaign. She should gain fame for her victories in her errantry wars. Certain units can’t be unlocked until she gains certain levels of fame. Grail knights of all varieties and blessed trebuchets shouldn’t be able to recruit until she has reached the threshold. Alberic should get +25% movement range when sailing for all forces. If he is to be some sort of sea-faring Bretonnian Lord he should get a great bonus for his faction. Fay Enchantress is doing fine but should be able to use freemen/treekin units. She is a forest spirit almost.

Then what do you consider to be strong? * Cast cost reductions for Dwellers and Regrowth * An astonishing 15% ward save for 1 skill point * Melee and defense buffs for grail guardians * Full access to lore of life, the best lore in the game. * Very fast moving mount that is also small and thus will limit the number of enemies that can attack her. And you make no mention of the fact that she has a damage aura that will melt everything around her in melee and get hundreds of kills for free against early game infantry. Fay Enchantress is completely busted and can carry the whole faction on her back, scoring hundreds of kills each battle even early on. Compare level 10 Fay to any of the other Bretonnia LLs at level 10, she blows them all away and this does not change as they level up further. The fact that the beast damsel she started with in WH2 was switched out for a paladin in WH3 makes her even stronger as she has a tank she can heal in addition to the 3 support lords that will be following her. Fay has a tough starting position with many enemies, but that also means there are many opportunities for expansion. She can take out Grom early and if she can avoid war with Durthu, she can take over Estalia, take out Skryre, and then invade the elf donut or confederate the desert and move south. Often overlooked is that Fay is also well positioned to be able to get the sword of khaine relatively early on, if you try for it then you can get it by turn 40-50 maybe earlier if you are lucky.

Anyone played louen in 2.2? In legendary like at turn 12 its gg belakor + mousi + kemmler

Would starting Louen with a couple catapults help?

And again with new vassal system you can make some norscan tribe your vassal or other ally and then give them all conqured norscan territories
