You know what, this honestly, genuinely feels like an idea that might work. Just don't mention to him that it'd make the plane too heavy, it's almost guaranteed he won't look into it himself. Of course there'd be the problem of keeping anybody else from telling him, but when he likes an idea he doesn't tend to give up on it easily.

Billyboy, Hillary LOST. I voted for her, there wasn't any alternative, but she LOST. Get OVER it. Start focussing on the multitudinous messes the guy YOU voted for has been causing, and not cleaning up (or draining), since before he ever got elected. Quit with the "but what about Hillary? She would've done such and such", where such-and-such is invariably something Trump has ALREADY done, or something he does in the next week and a half after the comment. --Dave, and while you're at it, try to understand that a) Obama is no longer President and b) he didn't ruin amrica, take away your guns, corrupt your children (or that one aunt), impose martial law, take away or violate ANY of your civil rights, or in general have anything to do with most of the made-up scandals Republicans tried to stick to him for those 8 years. It's the worst Jeffersonville style pizza. Notice how Jeffersonville/Jeffersontown isn't a recognized style of pizza in the way that New York style pizza or Chicago style pizza are ? There's a reason for that. When you think of rural Indiana or suburban Kentucky, you don't think of regional pizza styles. Nor are pizza styles developed by the descendant of German immigrants a thing which represents the best achievements of the United States. At least Domino's, while very poor quality is founded on a chain started by Dominick DiVarti, an Italian descendant. Pizza Hut (which might be the pick of the litter) ? British descendants from Wichita, Kansas. Little Caesars ? A Macedonian in Detroit.

Right now I am once again struggling with it (due to medications and life circumstances mostly). I just wanted to say that I found this a very sensitive add-on. Thank you.

I think it's something some people from older generations sometimes do because racism was considered normal when they were young or in their area. Whereas younger generations or people from other areas have been raised to consider that word taboo, for older generations or people in other areas hear it and it's the equivalent of any other insult to them. Just to be clear, I'm not saying it justifies it. People need to educate themselves. Upbringing and environment explains racism, but it can never justify it.

He was mostly fired for bad PR, we can't all not say bad things all the time but we can chose when to say them. Like I have the freedom to say any word at home to my self however many times, maybe sings along to a rap song or w/e but the second I go outside I need to think will I 'hurt people' when people hear words that make them angry they are generally responding to a felling of being hurt emotionally and respond with physical violence to what they perceive as aggression to them. I think people lose sight to reciprocated respect and expect it to be one sided, any one sidedness will build up resentment and hate and explode such as, is happening now with repression and apology-ism and favoritism (boy do people hate when they feel treated unequal isn't it ironic we all want to be treated the same but all chose to treat each other differently). Look at all people of any color or nation and they all react the same way to words, I think there is a balance of understanding intent and self censorship but getting there will be a trick.

As a training officer giving a session on ethnic sensitivity, I was told I had to read aloud the racial slurs on the slide because it was important that I lend my "leadership" to staff to enforce that the slurs were offensive. And I was like, "Uh, you know, it's almost exactly opposite that case." and "No." and refused to repeat the words because, "you all are adults and can read these reprehensible words for yourself and if any of these words come out of your mouth, there will be disciplinary actions taken." I don't think I was asked to do that particular session again. I was also very bad at being the "target for an example of sexual harassment" -- I just said, "No." to that one. Wow. I was bad at training.
