When I was around 13 or 14 there was a guy that was already bowling in the 110 km/h range. He was 14 himself and ended up playing with the 18-year olds. I shit my pants every time I had to go in to the nets and face him. He was a bugger though as he knew we were scared and would move away, so he always pitched it in to us.

hopefullyreasonable to probably make it more of a quick ball hes probably bowling 130 but it would seem quicker over the shorter length. My guess.

Makes you think how bloody good international cricketers are to not just face that but make a judgement on which shot to play
@Variedtopic6 жыл бұрын
2 things bro..if your reflexes are good you practice everyday. you can play them. second thing in nets most fast bowler bowls huge no balls. during match they have to bowl legal deliveries plus you have side screens that makes a huge difference.

Guys, it's a no ball because his actual run up is a fair bit longer than he has room for here.
@sussysultana57917 жыл бұрын
It makes a big difference! You must know nothing about cricket!
@scrubdouglas7177 жыл бұрын
***** Why does it have nothing to do with it? I always use the same run up in the nets as in a game.
@scrubdouglas7177 жыл бұрын
***** That's very true, I guess Brett is just trying to give it to this fella xD because I do to modify my run up when needed.
@wce053087 жыл бұрын
Scrub Douglas he would do that even if he had room. most bowlers do it in the nets because they are more worried about rhythm than bowling a no ball. I've seen it countless times at many different levels.
@tiborsol6376 Жыл бұрын
Not great if you’re batting and they are a metre and a half over the front line. That’s got bugger all to do with rhythm it’s cheating cowardly and dangerous. Also worthy of a punch in the mouth

I love the game of cricket and am am a fan of many players regardless of where they are form. The same is often not true of Indian and Pakistanis. Try to relax with the patriotic zeal. It's boring.

cquilty1 Where are you from? Well, your observation is correct, I'd say. But your dismissive comment ain't. I'd like to call your attention to the socioeconomic strata that most Indians and Pakistanis come from.

Wasim Akram retired from cricket (1st class) in 2003. He played a few games for Smethwick in the Birmingham League. I got promoted when one if the first team openers at my club "couldn't make our game" against them. O got promoted from the 2nd team to open. It was an experience....i can tell you!!!! ( I top scored with 43, and got out to a pie chucker 😂😂😂)

Don’t get me wrong Brett is a legend. But what is the point of training if your not training like it’s an actual game. There is no point bowling no balls in the nets if you can’t bowl them in an actual game
@devilgamer19986 жыл бұрын
I don't get it, what is the bad side to it? You can run up with less space, you can learn to not worry about the line and just thinking about repeating your run up and action until it becomes second nature, and it is more of a challenge for the batsmen because it gets their reflexes going with a shorter time between release and the ball getting to them.
