Good story behind the idea & good cause too. For every pack sold they're planting an extra tree in their carbon-negative forest, really good idea!

If only Brewdog had been this amicable with the Lone Wolf lawsuit. I love the company and their beers but that made me really question my Patronage.

£1.40 a can when 4 of brew dogs core beer cost £5 or 8 for £9. Price point is off so unlikely to tempt me.

Great review Simon, cheers. I personally think if you’re going to session you’re going to take advantage of the multi buy deals in the supermarkets. And i feel there are much better session ales available a lot cheaper than this beer. It’s a lovely story though isn’t it so I’ll definitely buy the odd can.

Okay I'm off to Aldi tomorrow then! Great review thanks! I have been a bit sceptical of Brewdog over the lastý 6 months, why, because the only few craft beers you could get during lockdown was Brewdog, they were EVERYWHERE all the time!! How and why!? Love you all and I mean no harm with my comments, cheers!! 🍺🤘

Just bought a box of four last night (for under £5) and had two watching the footie... really decent beer. Tasted fresh and very drinkable ... I can see this being a staple in the fridge. Likewise, I'm a fan of session ABV

Aldi spending the big money trying to rope back customers. Dunno how it is around the rest of the country, but i prefer, and shop mostly at Lidl now. Ican't remember when last i went to Aldi, used to be pretty regular; I may have to visit my local to pick up a few of these new range Brewdog beers. I doubt these will replace the Protronus which is my regular goto, but willing to try them for the sake of it.

I'd certainly give it a try, but on the price point, I was buying Punk back in the early summer delivered to my door for £50/ 48 cans.

Bulk buying is always cheaper... What's your point? Buying a single can is usually around £1.80 to £2.00 so it is cheaper

@@s125ish crikey, opened a can of worms there, but where did i say i dont drink other beers? also bought a mixed casr of 48 from them- punk/hazy jane/elvis juice and 4 cans of hard seltza for the same price. i have several imperial stouts and other IPAs all purchased on-line in bulk after trying a single can or 4 pack. makes financial sense to me if i can buy it at 20-40% cheaper than the supermarkets and with delivery thrown in last year i got 96 bottles of jet black heart at 90p a bottle (330ml), dosent mean i drank nothing but that for 3 months.

Where do you get 4.7abv from?? It’s 4.5abv got a can here watching your review surly they have not knocked the abv down already? Great review as always 👍 and it’s a cracking beer for the price

Try the Tesco Brewdog double ipa in the 440.... Its 8.2 but really nice. costs £3.70 a can..They had it on special offer for a while for £2.70 but worth it even at the higher price.

Tried a can out of curiosity and rather liked it, nice hops and a lingering bitterness as you said. Not sure what hops would be in there, amarillo maybe?

Brewdog definitely could have got it taken off, a few years ago Nescafe got Aldi to take their Azera coffee copy off the shelves for a period, as it looked too similar. But as you say, they went the best route to sort this

Tried the punk ipa last week and oh my god best beer I’ve had in a while. It costs 210 rupees here in India. That’s 2.2 gbp for a 330 ml bottle. IPA is very rare in India (irony) Anyway can imagine how good this must be.

The one you reviewed a few months back called 'not you when you're thirsty' like snickers got sued and lost i think they've renamed it. Shame as it was very unique i think it was a stout or imperial porter 🤔

Reviewed some of this yesterday. It was utter gash. Smelt of onions and malt and tasted like Satan's piss. For me, this has to go down as the worst beer I've tasted this year. Rotten stuff.

Absolute trash of a can, tried it today and was so disappointed and poured the rest in the sink. Gotta give it to them their PR strategy has been great, hopefully not too many people fall into it.
