If you take the rubber ring off of the dosing cup, it fits a 54mm portafilter perfectly, without spilling grounds as in this video. It's designed that way and mentioned in the Encore ESP manual.

Had an absolutely nightmare with this combination. The bambino chokes at anything below about 18 on the baratza, and when I do get liquid out it’s heavily under extracted. So confused.

@@yuvalnaveh254 i spoke with Baratza (very very good communication ) and they suggested taking a shim out. Worked a treat.

When it comes to dialing in your beans, the setting will vary depending on the coffee and setup that you have. So, we used a finer setting but this is something you really want to customize depending on your personal setup with a trial and error
