Brian Culbertson is a AWESOME! We are both graduates of MacArthur high school in Decatur, IL where his father who is playing trumpet on this number was the band teacher and let me add that he was also AWESOME in his teaching. Keep making the music I love to hear. Thanks!

And this composition gentlemen would certainly be a great melody to humpty dump to for an audience. It's got a hypnotic touch to it. It is exceptionally a pleasure to listen to. There are really no words to describe how good BC is. Makes me wonder whether Brian is even from here (earth, that is 😎) Clearly he's been anointed from up above, blessed with phenomenal musical talent. As a composer, Brian's arrangements are just pure genius! Also, the "band" (less BC)... is absolutely fantastic! The musicianship on display is top-notch, no surprise given the high bar set by the band's leader. And what a gift to us jazz fans that we get to actually see some of the live studio tracks of his work!

Just cutting my teeth here in the music world in the past half dozen years or so. I'm finding smooth jazz to be my top pick. Brian C. is heavenly. Started with Sade (still in love), then Paul Hardcastle, Brian Simpson, and finally Culberston here. Never used to be able to appreciate any music at all. It took smooth jazz to really awaken the senses. Now, I dance at home all the time to this guy. My soul used to hurt 24/7, but no more.
