Saw him a couple years ago acoustic with Dave Hause from the Loved Ones at the Bowery Ballroom. Hause did a bunch of covers as well as some of his songs, Brian made conversation with the audience; it felt as though they invited the audience over to their houses to play music in their garage/backyards and drink/relax. Artists like them play for the love of music. This should be the stuff that we here on the radio more so.

Saw Brian at the Crossroads earlier this month and he played this song. My fiance and i were only 10 feet away and he was holding me while Brian played... it was surreal.
