“Not watching too much”. I’m too years too late for commenting here but SAME here. Watching the news has made me anxious and I want to be in the Word more and more.

I was an atheist for over 30 years. My parents were religious and pushed me into Christianity. I hated it so much. I used to play the guitar in a blasphemous metal band. I didn't want to have anything to do with God nor Christianity until I found my future wife. She was full of unconditional love from Jesus. She changed my beliefs. She showed me the real path to Jesus. She had severe dairy allergies for years. She got healed and after I saw it with my own eyes that Jesus healed her from severe allergies, I saw the true God. Also Thanks to people like Todd White and Steven Furtick I can finally see what it is to be a real Christian. There're so many people who call themselves Christians but they're actually not. They don't fully except God and they don't obey his commandments. They go to church but they don't have a relationship with Jesus. I try to talk to people about Jesus and what is really important to get saved. It's so difficult to be a real Christian and people don't like to give up on their sinful lives. I try to imitate Jusus or at least get a little closer to be like him. That's exactly what He wants us to do. LOVE EACH OTHER AND SHARE THE GOSPEL. I thought I would share this with you.

Hey Brian, just really wanted to share a bit of my story. Im a christian and pursuing a career in traditional sculpture and digital sculpture. The things I make are not what most people would call pretty and tend to be "dark" monster or creatures. When many of my christian friends see my work they question it. One friend even said she prays I make "nicer" things. It can be frustrating that some Christians have this cookie cutter idea of what we should be and do, but in reality to really expand the world of God we have to be willing to go to new places where other Christians havent. For me thats a world of monsters. Your story has been an inspiration man and ill be praying for you. To anyone reading remember that the world is a place full of wolves in sheeps clothing, but to get through to a wolf you sometimes have to be a sheep in wolves clothing.

Hey brother Brian. In 2008-2010, I was a hopeless meth and addict who was also homeless for many years. For what it's worth, I am also a Korn fan. Anyway, I remember being in that darkness and pain and praying that Christ would change me and He did. His changing me was so radical that even my non-believing friends have been astonished. Anyway, I am about to attend law school (I have been praying that I can reflect Christ in that field). Anyway, God used your testimony in my life. Thanks man.

I live in Texas not that far from Waco and we visit/ shop there frequently and every time we are in the area I think about what happened. So sad 😞 for all the loss of life and especially children. I think your testimony is awesome and very inspiring. I have struggled with my faith over the years but this gives me hope !

For the most part I have been doing a lot of small groups with my church via ZOOM, and studying the Word. I didn’t have the time before the pandemic. I love how God has used this time so I could grow closer to Him. I haven’t seen WACO yet. I will look for it. I just finished Jonestown, God got tired of us, The story of God, Wild Wild country, Prophets Prey, and Tiger King. I’ve also been watching a lot of 80’s movies. Oh and I love listening to you talk about God so ramble on.

Its still only at season 1, but they are crowd funded and need people with money to help support them 😋 they plan on doing 8 or so seasons and the character building of Jesus and each disciple is fantastic. It is a great way to reach out across denominations and non-believers alike. This world needs more of that!

I watched that Waco tv mini series on Netflix... it definitely moved me. So much so that I reached out to David Thibodeau (One of the survivors) and told him that I'm glad him and the other survivors finally got to tell the REAL story of what went on all those years ago. The media spun it like it was a cult of crazy people... that wasn't the case AT ALL.

I'm still working working working in the Healthcare field so not much free time on my hands. However, got to listen to your books via Audible and just started Stronger last week. I'm so in awe over the way God transforms lives and even more thankful that I've finally found some music to listen to that fits my inner metal-head. I have been a Korn fan since I was in HS in the 90s. Never would I thought when I was screaming along to “dead bodies everywhere” in my bedroom at the age of 17......that fast forward 20 plus years later I would be hearing such a calm well thought out comforting message in a world that is upside down. It is just great that bands like Korn and Slipknot have really looked deep into the human mind. What an interesting time we live in. Our friends in Korn and Slipknot will give you a clearer message than you can get from a lot of places.

Honestly Brian...I've been following your journey since you found God, and I always wondered how awesome it would be if you ever visited my home church. I know what It's like and how awkward it is when in a church environment that just feels off. It's not a large church, maybe 200 people at most, but it's family, and everything a church family should feel like. You are one of the biggest reasons that I started playing the guitar at 12. I don't really watch shows, Brian, but I love thinking about Him and finding cool videos. I found two video channels I like is Invisible People and Precious Testimonies. Those are my favs. I was a drug addict and He instantly set me free when I overdosed. It was awesome. I have been free since. I was 22. I am 51 now. By His grace and goodness, I have been free. I love to listen to my son's riffs he creates.
