I think Brian presented a really poor argument and then complained about her interrupting him too much when Brian interrupts people all the time. I understand that he wants to finish his point, but he should also let others finish theirs as well, otherwise he can't expect them to let him finish his points either. There should be a rule in the podcast that prohibits any kinds of interruptions, by both the guests and Brian. And each participant in the debate should be allowed to present only one point at a time, rather than multiple points in succession, and then wait for an answer from the other side, so that responding to them all at once isn't overwhelming.

The joke was pretty clear in the context of only taking out his gf to diner once or twice in five years. It wasn't necessarily a good joke but the intent of what she said was joking about the (not) taking gf out to diner more. In that context it didn't seem that rude to me and wasn't meant as an attack on him or is ex gf at all. I feel Brian kept drilling that point far too long.
