Oh man, I can hear it now: This is the Lock Picking Lawyer, and today what I have for you is this 3D printed lock with several egregious design flaws..... 1) is you can physically see the locking mechanism in place 2) there is this; not so hidden button in which the actual key resides 3) this lock is made of a low temperature plastic which makes it vulnerable to heat and brute force attacks. Overall this lock is intended to keep the honest thieves out so I wouldn't recommend this lock at all. That's all I have for you today, thanks for watching, and have a nice day.

Clever! ! I wonder what your thought processes were in devising your intriguing mechanism? Did you formulate and visualize the entire plan in your mind all at once? Or did you create the plan incrementally, bit by bit?

While it's an interesting mechanism, it would be incredibly easy to crack without any issue. That hidden key would be quickly found and even if it wasnt, the lock is not hard to open without it. Anyways, looks pretty cool but not something to store anything important in

I think the first mistake with a 3D printed lock is printing it in the first place: this clearly isn't meant to secure anything.

@@marsandbars well, I think it would be possible to make something that would be hard to open without specific tools. But even if you make it thick enough to resist a hammer, heat will always break a 3d printed lock so yeah, you could always get past it fairly easy

If you simplify complex problem, you are a designer. What do we call a person who makes simple into more complicated one? See video you'll get it, I do not 'think' its necessary, Really no need of this.
