@@BuckForearm uneducated, uninformed comment of day goes to…you. What Beatle had the most 1 hits? McCartney Once again, McCartney leads the group with nine number-one charting singles. Perhaps surprising to some is that George Harrison ranks second in the most amount of number-one singles as a solo artist. As previously mentioned, Harrison was also the first Beatle to achieve a number-one single as a solo artist with the double-sided ‘My Sweet Lord/Isn’t it a Pity’.

No he didn't. He was fumbling and struggling throughout and the singer had two difficult tasks: 1. To maintain her timing while he fiddled and 2. To compete with his volume and him taking over the performance to be the centre of attention. She did an excellent job with Harrison's classic - despite May. Frankly, if he left the musicians to their job and played bass it would have been far better and allowed the singer's beautiful performance to shine. Still what can one expect from this old fashioned prima donna? Time he was tucked up in an old people's home: he was dressed for bed anyway...

Very Nice Bri and Kerry. Since I saw this the first time I ran into all of the Traveling Wilburys videos out there on youtube and was taken at how alike George and Brian are. Both are/were extremely talented singers and guitar players, and both were/are very respectful people, but both who/were highly principled and were not afraid to address critical issues. There are pictures out there of Brian and George together but I have not seen any collaborations with the two of them. If there were none, that's unfortunate. If so I'm sure that Brian looks back at that as a missed opportunity that he would have loved to have been a part of. Who knew that George was only going to be with us for 58 years.... How lucky the world is that we have had Brian for 74 years, and that he is still willing and able to entertain us! Hopefully there will be many more years!

I remember hearing Joe Cocker sing I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends That was such an incredible performance . And so many can sing Yellow Submarine which my learned colleague has just informed me that Ringo didn't write 😲 too and I love Octopuses Garden , there is a kind of charm to Ringo's works . I personally think My Guitar Gently Weeps and All Things Must Pass are amongst George Harrison's finest songs and for me Here Comes The Sun will always remind me of how I felt after the winter of 1962 /63 .
