You know I went to Oakwood so I have been hearing Brian sing for over 20 years. I am currently speechless..my goodness! It's like whomever is controlling the music industry has a serious vendetta against this cat..tell me who has the best combination of singing, writing, arranging, playing and appearance in the industry? There is really not anyone that comes close. Once you hear him work the keys..everyone else would have to take several steps back..then he starts singing..the room would empty!

Waaay back in '92 when I first heard his first album w/ this song One Last Cry, I knew major success would follow. He's blessed w/ such a distinguished voice...was nobody like him then and nobody like him now..category all his own, rightfully so!

Mmmmm, absolutely classic!! "Super Hero" Concert in Jacksonville Florida was unremarkable the touch of his hand, ahhhhh, I held my hand up in the air all the way back to my seat and some chick managed to rub my hand!!....but the experience touched by a legend never to be lost ❤ ❤

This man has been denied several deserved Grammy Awards by the music industry because he has refused to toe the industry line. He has not bowed at the throne of music executives at the expense of his unimaginable creative freedom. He without a doubt is the 2nd best R & B singer I have EVER heard based purely on his vocal range and mastery of melisma. Of course his childhood idol, Stevie Wonder, is best of all time. But Brian McKnight makes me love "Grown Folk" R & B!

He demonstrates the smooth vocals that Luther had, the high and melismatic vocals that and piano skills Stevie Wonder have, the sensual tone that Marvin Gaye had, the soul and passion that Otis Redding had, and the power and beautiful tone that Sam Cooke had.
