His death was pretty shocking at the time as i really started to enjoy his story line with Goldust and Marlena, then we heard news he died on the same night on as the pay-per-view "Bad Blood In Your House" in which he was supposed to be there.

It was shocking hell I learned about his death on raw on Monday after the ppv I couldn't afford to watch the pay-per-views of WWF I was just a kid my dad just had basic cable so I used to watch raw is war on channel 42 after that damn dog show but it scared me to death that Brian Pillman dead because I became a big fan after he pulled out that Glock on Stone Cold but yes I sure remember that fued with him and goldust his last match is on here on KZfaq it's Brian Pillman vs the Patriot

I'm pleased to see that they got his actual theme from 97 into the game, I was worried this would not be the case as the Pillman DVD that came out a few years back had this theme removed.

That DVD theme caught me off guard and blew the shit out of me. I have no clue why WWE didn't used that theme or the Ticking Timebomb theme he used in May 1997

Love how they included him about to beat up a fan as a reference like he did back in 96 and with this my hart foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Brian Pillman, with manager Jimmy Hart) vs dx (Shawn Michaels, HHH, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, with manager Chyna) storyline will be complete.

The Attitude Era was originally meant to revolve around the feud between Austin and Pillman NOT Austin/Rock. But, Pillman died before his time.
