I met Brian in 2018 in Minnesota. I'm 6'5 and about 300 at the time. Never have I felt so little compared to another man. Extremely humble and kind as well.

hebert eugenio Yeah, he really bulked up for this one, and that's saying a lot given he's already huge. Could see him going for a couple more years, not sure what his plan is. But his legacy is cemented. Selfishly, we'd all like to see him go on for a long time, but you look at Magnus V., he's a lot smaller now, and he was a judge. He can't keep this weight up forever.

Really? Not that he doesn' know his shit, but taking form tips from people with outlandish anthopometry isn't necessarily that applicable to what I assume is not a 400 pound giant. Heavyweight strongmen deadlift differently than normal folk for a reason other than them knowing their shit, shredded powerlifters deadlift differently than them.

perman07 While this is true if you listened to what tips he gave, it works quite effectively for myself at a bodyweight of 200lb I deadlifted 550lb, keeping the tips he gave in mind.

Best part about this was Arnold at 4:15 taking a selfie with Brian Shaw lifting and being so excited when he got the lift. That many years in the sport and he still gets exciting by big lifts. Awesome.
