Getting a little off topic, but I'm surprised by your experience because I've heard people talk about meeting the models at some meet & greet forum and finding them surprisingly plain. They are the plain canvas upon which truly talented makeup artists work their magic.

A lot of runway models do tend to look a bit odd or plain in real life because high fashion modeling isn't as much about looks but about the clothing looking a certain way. They're basically like human hangers. Underwear models though tend to be more traditionally attractive

@amerlin388 these two women were stunning even in plain cloths and probably jet lagged. Every eye man or woman had to work not to stare . The only other thing I can relate it to was seeing an injured Barred Owl that had been rehabilitated being released back into the wild . The forest was full of life and sound small birds , squirrels and chipmunks, field mice and who knows what other small animals. And then the rescue showed up with the owl and I've never experienced such a silence in the forest in all my life, every living thing knew there was a killer in their presence. The owl jumped off the arm of a rescuer releasing it's unbelievably large talons from the shoulder length leather glove and took silent flight to a nearby branch. Looked back for a moment or two as if to say thank you and smooth as silk fell from the branch into elegant flight again without so much as whoosh and moments later the forest came back to life with sound. It was a humbling experience, nothing in that forest feared a group of 20 people and bowed in silence like they did for a single Owl. That owl was a 10 for nearly everything living on the scale of likely to end my existence and it was more than noticeable it was undeniable , the silence was deafening, I hope that comparison makes sense or clarifies to some degree.
