It's the first day of 2024. And my heart was singing this song as the New Year came in. More than the cares for the world, the words in this song lay perfectly my prayers and hopes for 2024. Tis been years since i last sang this song in church or even by myself. Thanks Brian. 🙏

One of my all time favorite worship song. I can't say enough how much this song means to me. I've cried many times to God with this song in my heart.

I heard this song in the early/mid 90's and it left such an impression on me. Sang it in worship over the years. In my devotion this morning it popped up in my head and a simple google search, here I am enjoying it and praying along again! What a blessing!

Favorite worship song of modern era, brings back memories and sentiments of 35 years playing guitar in worship band. It has such an eerie longing feeling to it. I think the prayer was answered for me. I no longer have such longing to plea for help or freedom from shame. Rather I'm learning my identity as an adopted beloved son of the Father because I'm in Jesus and highly favored - no shame, no need to earn more, which makes Jesus so cool and God so good...living in my spirit (new man) which is all the fire I'll need.

I know your family stories, they have been an encouragement to me, and an inspiration for me to be real with God. Your songs were my go-to-list to find meaningful, congregration, theologically sound songs for the growth of my walk with Christ and leading the church to do the same in worship (when I led in an English speaking church). So many of these songs: Today; Jesus-hope of the nations; Purify my heart; Everlasting, Your love is amazing, and many others ... and Psalm 13 (what a way to bring a less common element of worship to life).
