When I was a child in elementary school in the 50's,, we were made to say the "lords prayer" every morning before the pledge of allegiance. I refused and was punished every day by being made fun of in front to the class and made to sit outside in the cold... This was public school! They've already said that it's ok for a coach at a school game is allowed to have prayer with his players (even though not all the players want to participate but feel they must.) The removal of prayer from the schools happened in 1962: Engel v. Vitale (1962). But that was a different SCOTUS, one that wouldn't try to overturn established precedence like our present one. They've already overturned precedence that was 50 years old. You may have heard of that one (Roe v. Wade (1973). Roe v Wade was enacted with a 7-2 decision, yet a 5-4 decision (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022) overturned it. The current SCOTUS can't even tell us if a President is immune to prosecution (even though that should be a slam dunk that a president is not a monarch and no one is above the law.)
