That’s crazy money, in WV most guys run regular triaxle’s (tandem drive with 1 lift axle) because we can gross 77,000 on state routes set up that way, but here a triaxle only makes about $85 an hour for dirt and $95 an hour for blacktop. Over $100/ hour is unheard of, but sure would be nice. Maybe I should pack up and head to Washington 😂

That's good pay 4 and 5 axles in Virginia is around 70 to maybe 90

Thanks for doing the video man. Did you ever figure out the sales tax rules when buying a truck?
@BRIANVANDUYN3 жыл бұрын
If you buy it from a dealer your paying sales tax in Washington weather you want to or not

Love that style ticket book. Nice to not have your hand hanging off the edge trying to write. Did you get them printed locally? Or did you order them online?

man u guys are lucky with the rates in toronto the rates were $78 a hr and my dad and myself got $71 a hr. my dads friend who we worked for took $7 a hr
@philhartman60363 жыл бұрын
The big cities always have low hourly rates. 2 hours out of toronto it's $95-$100 an hour.
@dropshipincanada2 жыл бұрын
only $78? i have watched other youtubers from toronto they saying around $90-$100 usually $100 an hour is the rate maybe find another company to work with. I live in vancouver the rate is usually $100 minus 5% dispatch fee
@classicxl2 жыл бұрын
@@dropshipincanada that’s not a good rate either vancouver is very expensive more then toronto . i got out last year my dad has sold his truck and this is his last year . my dads working for different companies only making $81 a hr
@dropshipincanada2 жыл бұрын
@@classicxl ya right now im making $120 an hour minus the 5% dispatch fee work is actually very busy all year round since the housing boom and doesn't look like it will slow down for the next 6 years. I would suggest investing in a day cab and get a end dump trailer in the busy season do dump truck hauling and winter remove the trailer and do dry van, reefer deliveries local toronto to montreal.

@@dropshipincanada i owned the truck in my profile picture i found out i would rather be a company man .I like clocking in and out sun -thurs . No headaches been there done that too many dump trucks in toronto and rates suck a company we worked for last year ipac was paying $78 a hr and companies do it for $69 now

How do you go about finding a dispatcher or a broker?
@BRIANVANDUYN3 жыл бұрын
Call other dump truckers if they know any dispatchers. But with all that effort you might as well find your own customers
