I really enjoyed this little video on painting and abstract art. I also search for the experience of Paradise. And Nature, and Art and especially painting using sensitivity to light , color, rhythm and movement as the keys to intensified experience of doing exactly that. But for me the abstract and the figurative are intertwined in mystical and even magical ways 🧡🌸💜

This is just so important reflections - I love abstract painting. They truly are very important to help u’s being very present and to experience the Depp mystery and beauty and wonder of every Living moment. But I also can find the abstract in socalled more narrative approaches to painting - because life is an eternal stream of the known and the unknown multidimensionalities of being 🎶💜🎵

Most of like is like that. We spend huge amounts of time working and struggling, sometimes just for that one fleeting moment where it all seems perfect. Sometimes you see it in a piece of art, or sometimes out in nature - a shaft of light through the trees or clouds that only lasts for a second or two, but in your mind is what a perfect version of that should be. I get those, but the one that really works for me is when I'm out riding my motorcycle and I stop for a rest. Sometimes it is the perfect place to stop. It might be the scenery, it might be the silence, it even be the shape of the road that you just conquered. Looking back at the dragon you just slayed, as the bike ticks quietly cooling down. Another minute down the road and you might not get any of that. So maybe that's the real definition of art. It's not the whole painting, it's that one tiny moment that you catch at the right time, from the right angle. Brice called it Paradise. I think we need to watch for more of them and save them up in our memories, and leave the bloody phone in your pocket.

And to become more and more aware of the light you are in - to be in awe of the eternal creation of experience - thats what art can do - it can take us to Paradise - I do like that idea - so well said - so true - the Real purpose is take us far beyond the conceptual, the analytical, the critical - its to take us beyond and into the intense feeling of life 🎶🖤🎵

Very cool philosophy on abstract art. I definitely have the attraction to abstract art and its non-representational language.

Have only seen three types of abstract art (as a layman). The brilliant once, the poor once and the lazy scam.

I like the way this guy talks, he sounds like an artist but then he shows me 4 green panels and that's supposed to mean something!? The art business really is a joke to me.
@MontyCantsin52 жыл бұрын
Not everything needs to be classical realism ffs: there's enough room in the world for all kinds of painting. Just because the work isn't to your taste doesn't mean it's a joke.
