I was a brickie for 10 years but had to quit due to extensive back injuries and surgeries, there is not a day goes by that I don't miss this amazing trade! Glad to see someone take so much pride in his work.

Hi, I'm a girl too, I want to be a bricklayer. Did you have any problems getting a job because you're a girl? Is it physically difficult if you have been doing sports for many years and are not afraid of physical labour?

Im not a bricky but have a weird satisfaction from watching these bricklaying videos of what i would say is a extremely skilled job and Stu is bloody good at it.

I've met plenty of people in my life but I've never seen any body with as much passion in wat they do as u pal i've only been watching u a few week n wat I've seen u can do with bricks n blocks pal is sik👍👍

Hi Stu Have you ever done a video on splay bays? I only ask as this seems to be a common problem in terms of quality? Would be interested to know your thoughts regarding joint sizes creeping or bond issues thatt may occur if you catch my drift...

Stu, I'm not trying to be nosey or anything of the sort, but how do you go about getting work? Does word spread round in the community or do you have ads and leaflets etc? I'm a Carpentry Apprentice but I think Carpenter Or Bricklaying are the two most important of the trades. Great Stuff Stu. I don't think I would've picked up a trade were it not for you!
