Awesome set!!! Now I have an Idea, to buy the same BTR 82a with 5 different custom spetsnaz soldiers . So I live in Russia, And I will be proud to have this model in my collection:)

Yes, this a very iconic russian troop transport vehicle. I had a great time building and displaying this set

The camouflage coloring may date back to its release date - when Russians had equipment to spare and sent these APC's to Syria. Not a whole lot of that going on these days.

Thanks for the info and good to know. Its not easy to match exactly the camo given the color and parts limitation of lego. Overall bkm did a really good job with this kit. And yes, russian need as many of those as they can get, given the rate of which those being “disposed” now.

This is a cool kit, have fun. And you can definitely put the russian flag on the antenna piece.
