This is a review of LEGO Ninjago set 71822 Source Dragon of Motion! This set was sent to me by LEGO for review, and officially releases on June 1st, 2024 in most parts of the world, and August 1st 2024 in North America. This set contains 6 minifigures: Tournament Kai, Tournament Arin, Tournament WyldFyre, Lord Ras, Jordana, and a Wolf Mask Warrior!

Kids aged 12+ recreate soaring aerial adventures from season 2 of the NINJAGO® Dragons Rising TV show with this awesome Source Dragon of Motion (71822) adventure toy. This is the biggest-ever LEGO® dragon toy, and has posable legs, tail, hips, jaw, head, neck and large wings. It comes with a saddle-throne on its back and 6 smaller spirit dragons.

The more i see this dragon, the more i think about how much they learned from the golden ultra dragon: -Stability: fixed -Awful middle section: fixed -Lack of bricks on the back legs: fixed :Wings: fixed -Head design: fixed -Etc, etc... The fact that this dragon gives off Firstborne vibes to me really makes me think that All of them had a Claw in creating Firstborne Herself and all put in one main part of themselves into her. Beautiful dragon, great minifigure selection.

I'm only 20 seconds in and it already looks amazing. My only gripe is that due to the grand stature of the dragon, the tail almost looks comically short.

Lloyd’s legendary dragon is possibly the one from the episode where Imperium captured it but Lloyd saved it (im not sure about this, its just a theory from me!)

It’s amazing and I can’t wait to get it!😀 0:50 I think I know why Source Motion Dragon is fire like, because if I remember correctly (in which case I do) when exercising or being in motion a lot, your body starts to heat up and keeps you warm in cold places. 4:33 Uhhhh hardly, if it was captured then why aren’t their chains wrapped around its ankles or mouth? 13:30 Yeah I thought they’d either be different colored spirit source dragons or they’d combine together into 1 dragon like golden ultra dragon. 15:00 I love the new armor pieces. 20:33 Actually, this isn’t the first time we’ve had a gunmetal gray armor piece like Ras has, we got another from 2 armor Crystal King minifigure from his Centuar form set. 25:05 Yeah me neither.

13:30 the tiny dragons are likely "vision dragons", similar to what Lloyd experienced in one of his visions. Maybe the Source motion dragon can make multiple vision dragons and send them to different characters to give them visions simultaneously as needed? Or maybe they are just used for communication as the source dragons rarely manifest into the physical world?

This set I am definitely going out of my way to get! I'm in Canada, and it retails for $200 here, so it is more expensive But almost everything about this set makes it all worth This set and the tournament battle arena are my grabs to get those new outfits for Arin and Sora Great review! 🔥

I DESPERATELY need this set to ACTUALLY have a physical set of a SOURCE DRAGON is so unbelievably awesome also either this is a source dragon that ras enslaves or this is his master because ras’s master HAS to be a source dragon I mean to communicate with him he does what lloyd did to speak to the source dragons

In the render of the set it looks like the second color of the marbled blade piece is dark red, but the color is also way more prominent, cover the entire bottom half of it.

Bro yoy made me want this guy even more dragons are my favorite part of ninjago and this one is perfect it has som little flaws but nothing that would completly throw me off cant wait tobad him to the rest anong: jiro, riyu, heatwave and shimo (i know that its not the name of the core ice dragon but it reminds me so much of shino fron the monsterverse that i will keep calling this dragon shimo (either way it works)

How many pieces does the throne have? I also notice some similarities between this and the Monkey King Ultra Mech. Both sets include 6 LEGO mini-figures with side-builds that are part of the main build. Additionally, both sets consist of 1700 pieces.

It is a great dragon. It's #4 for me in aesthetic. #1: Skull Sorcerer's Dragon #2: Lloyd's Golden Ultra Dragon #3: Boreal Ice Dragon I know Lloyd's Ultra Dragon is a controversial pick, but the pearl gold makes it look very regal IN PERSON. And I love the four heads with Oni Lloyd sitting on top.

I think Erin is going to be the master of motion similar to how Lloyds the master of energy and there’s a source dragon for both energy and motion, it could explain why he was able to learn spinjitzu the way he did and why he’s able to transfer it to objects, but that would also mean there’s going to be a master of life and strength but we’ll see how it goes

The small dragon whisps could be each element the dragon represents eg fire motion and heat and ect wich could make sense if they source dragon had 6 elements it represents
