I'd kick bricks out my studio for taking this long on an 808 pattern like it's still 2007. I swear FL don't force producers to actually learn.

Yea FL studio is great if you know how to use it. The problem is the UI is more user friendly and straightforward, there's usually 10 ways to do something. If you wanna know, you'll be forced to learn the same as you would in, say.. abelton.. But FL Is far less unnecessarily convoluted *because it doesn't have to be*

@@phuhque6724 I'm certified in Ableton & I can tell you right now FL's UI is far from user friendly. It's not even musician friendly. There is a reason you rarely see people use MIDI controllers with FL. They approach the beat like a programmer while trying to vibe. Bricks probably took 5+ mins on the Hihats when it could take 20secs with a template in Ableton. Same with the clap. Now with the 808, instead of guessing the key he could have asked ol' buddy that started the Arp what key he was in. That's how you manage a session. Bricks had the vibe of the 808 at 1st then completely lost it @ 6:06

@@Johnny-Hash what ableton template do you have for those hihats? i have one that i made that generates multiple midi clips....but its not as organic as say setting up a drumrack with some pads on repeat etc......but i also have an ableton push....im more curious about what template style u talkin
