This particular era of LEGO Pirates feels like they were just selling minifigures. Most of the sets were just small terrain builds, shipwreck segments or the occasional building, with the wave only having one ship.

thanks for sharing these amazing stop motion reviews. I'm watching them with my oldest and he can't get enough of them (like me). I have all the sets from 1989 and 1991 up in the attic. Time to brick them back together.

I love Lego Pirates also! They were I introduced at 1989 when I was a kid and I got into Lego! I loved some castle sets I had at that time, but when pirates came out, that was so overwhelming that I looked at some catalogue pictures the whole day long!
