Well i doubt its their fault , i mean the people , These political decisions are made by the new Administration. What will happen remains to be seen . Its not easy to isolate your self from USA in South and North America , Argentina wanted to decouple but it led to isolation , some countries like Cuba went that way , for decades now . But that path is not easy , its a sacrifice . one that will bring fruit in the future , once Cuba is opened it will grow faster then any other nation locally maybe even on Global level , due to its low development ,strategical place , and big opportunities ,as well as good demographics . But for now USA keeps it Isolated , and they do that for a reason , they cant afford developed Cuba , but once free Cuba will develop, Argentina is in the same boat , just trying to survive untill things turn in new direction . How one can do that is hard to say , its hard to put your self in their shoes .

I think that the key issue is what were the conditions for joining BRICS that were put forward to Argentina and whether they aligned with Milie's plans for course correction on the Argentinian economy. So far he's doing what most said could not be done. Self determination and autonomy to be what you want to be seems to be something that we don't think about anymore at the expense of the hopes, real or not, of toeing the line and becoming another brick in the wall.

The President of Argentina isn't the brightest guy. Milei is much too idealistic. Allows his personal dogma to cloud his judgment. It would be interesting to know just how much Argentina was coerced by the US. The value of the Peso aka the "Blue" rate, is determined on the US stock market by comparing the buy/sell rate of a bond traded in both the US and Argentina. The US finance industry is quite capable of destroying the Peso, which could force Argentina to then allow exploitation by US corporations moving in to buy up resources cheaply.

It is not true that there is zero inflation, it still exists but the way in which inflation rises is decreasing, it is better than nothing than if it continues to rise or there is one-digit daily inflation as happened with the previous government. Literally when that happened, prices were marked up more than once in supermarkets, a typical image prior to hyperinflation.

Do you think the dollar will still be a valuable currency after that or that it's value will be zero? If it's value is now close to zero, then what price in dollars will you place to a product? It has come to a point that the US has to revalue the USD because they have inflated it artificially for too long and is about to implode on itself! There are more USD flowing into the US than that flow out which should have a devaluation effect against other currencies but the contrary is true because of the artificial inflation! USD vs REAL has gone from 1/4.60 to 1/5.50 in less than 7 months. It's a tsunami effect and will roll back in the next 3 to 6 months! Brazil is starting to sell off it's USD to American investors as well and will disconnect from the USD system the moment the BRICS currency comes available which is probably October 2024!

😂😂😂Argentina has been on a death spiral decades before the BRICs offer. BTW the B on BRICs (Brazil), it's currency is trading at an all time psychological low of 5.5933 Reais to the US Dollar. Inflation has nothing to do with joining (or not) brics. Inflation is strictly related to money printing. Previous government printed money like crazy, and left power with inflation trending 7000%. Now new goverment is doing damage control, and managed to reduce to 200%. Inflation is steadily trending down. That the objective data. Have a great day.
