Midway into the trip, Jade's (John Ritter from Three's Company) uncle tracks down the van and starts to inspect it while the couple is away. Annoyed by Kincaid's interference, the killers rig a trap which embeds several nails into the Chief's face, then hide his body inside an onboard trunk.

What’s the movie Bride of Chucky about?
In a disused warehouse, Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly from Bullets over Broadway), Chucky's (Brad Dourif) last lover while he was human, murders in cold blood a policeman who minutes before had stolen the doll for her. She decides to resurrect it with a voodoo incantation. She naively thought, by a ring found in the apartment, that he wanted to ask her to marry him the night of his death. Alas, this stolen ring was only a trophy for Chucky. Disappointed, she locks him in a playpen and mocks him with a wedding doll. Chucky to take possession of someone's body. He uses the ring to saw through the bars of the playpen, kills Tiffany, who was determined not to let him revert to human form until he married her, and transfers Tiffany's soul into the doll she gave him. The only solution to regain their human form is to cross the United States to retrieve an amulet that Chucky had when he was human and is now in his grave. Meanwhile, a young couple, Jesse (Nick Stabile), Tiffany's neighbor, and Jade (Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy and 27 Dresses), victim of her uncle's police surveillance, have a lot of trouble getting together. A phone call from Tiffany asking them, money in hand, to bring the dolls to Charles Lee Ray's grave, they leave, and a new series of murders begins, this time as a couple, across the United States.
