Why was she concerned about the buttons and bow when she’s covering it with a cape.

Panicking with 4 weeks to go wow! That's no big deal and completely normal to only get your dress the week before and have that be your final fitting.

It's normal not to add all of the details until the bride has tried it on. Otherwise, if they have to change the size of the dress, they have to remove everything and re add it, which takes more time and also could damage the fabric

"It's just better if she gets her own way" Well, ok then, Mrs Salt. YOU raised the nightmare, you SHOULD be embarrassed with an adult child behaving like a spoiled brat.

I’m happy she’s happy, but the cape is horrible.

Do you know it just take minutes to sew a button, no problem. The bow…..that can also be fixed. If you want your specifications met, then be prepared to have a final fitting. You aren’t the only bride they have to do alterations for, settle.

Have none of them ever sewed on a button? It doesn't take weeks.

Seems like all the drama could have been avoided by the shop emailing or calling her - "We'll show you the top five cm of buttons to make sure you approve, before proceeding..."

Did no one tell her that wedding dresses usually need multiple fittings? And lawd, that amount of drama over sewing on a few buttons and stiffening up a bow with 4 weeks up their sleeve?

The cape is awful.

I assume she’s taking the cape off at some point. If not, why is she worried about the buttons and bows?

The music made it seem more dramatic than it was. Bride probably had lots to say but they edited it down to making her & family sound like drama queens. She looked lovely on the final day, stunning gown, & such a beautiful wedding. Well done.👍👍

buttons and pinning of a bow really dont take long. Its nothing to cry over.

Why is she changing buttons and a bow when she'll be wearing a cape anyhow, nobody will see it.

And after all that tempest in a teacup drama over the buttons....we never even got a shot of the back of the gown. LOL

Oh please i got my dress finished 5 days before my wedding.. 4 weeks is plenty of time..

I don't think that those buttons are going to be very comfortable to sit on for any length of time unless the chairs are very well padded.

That poor owl. Should be in its tree nest somewhere. Not having rice thrown at it with a bunch of humans making weird noises it doesn't understand. Or soaring freely in the wind like it was meant to......

The Cape looks ridiculous.

Here's the problem - she has no clue to the real meaning of the word VISUALIZE. It means to see it with your MIND, not your eyes.

FYI - Marriage isn't Disney. Shocking, but true. Buttons were exquisite.

Does she need so much? Cape, veil, tiara and bow.

On your wedding day you'll look a picture, the day after ... we've all forgotten you and the dress ..

Sewing on buttons and a bow…meh…a couple of hours of work…no biggie.

Love the cape, as long as it is season appropriate, but she did say "so she was not freezing". So yeah stunning touch, and to all the gripes... she is a nervous bride, it happens... I have seen nothing to indicate a bridezilla here just concern that something she thought or was under the impression would be done by this time was not. Also I have seen brides from all over the world go to places like this and Kleinfelds for the perfect dress so there is the chance that she can't come back for it, and this was planned for her to come in for a few days to wrap things up, if she lives too far out of Lancaster. Not all of us have the luxury of living within a mile or two of an internationally known salon because of this show and other variations of Say Yes to the Dress. Do you really think international designers only sell at these 3 salons? No, of course not, Brides come from all over the world for the cameras and the label... So yeah wanting or needing things done on a timeline is kind of important...

The cape was horrible and the back of the dress would’ve been fine without the bow . Just my opinion

Im glad she likes the cape, but it covers up the beauty of the dress, unless shes getting married in the snow.

Relax, all they have to do is add the buttons and stiffin the bow... They were smart not to do the work now in case she changed her mind on the type of buttons she wanted and to make sure the bow was the size she wanted. It's better they double check the alterations now then have to redo it all in case she changes her mind!!

Sorry looks like a costume- what's the point in fussing over buttons and bows when you'll be wearing a huge cape? Not to mention it crushes her veil.

I love Yes To The Dress, but ffs, there was plenty you could have improved upon that had nothing to do with buttons, the buttona where’s the problem, jut sayin’ And to be quiet honest I don’t care.

The reason i sew my own dress if ever bither to get married with my partner. I don't want a person I pay refuse do the job I make a order for and pay to get done becouse they don't like it. They can do what they want to on thwir dress they pay for and the bride get the dress they pay for. Less drame more happy people but then they can't badtalk a bride on tv while the staff thats to full of themself not capabof doing their job get oh poor you
