Exactly...and the consultants should have been more considerate of her brother's budget. If I were him, I'd ask her to pay the difference on any dress that is over budget. Plus, alterations are going to add probably another $1000... When I went bridal dress shopping I went to a store where they specifically stated most of the gowns were second hand and under $1000. I found a beautiful dress for under $900

She doesn’t realize that a lot of people who don’t have the same life that she’s living, would cry to have someone pay $5,000 for their wedding dress. It’s not even a bad price for a dress, but she’s just too spoiled to even notice that. If I were her brother I would’ve told her “look, if you’re not going to compromise and find a dress within my budget, then I won’t get you anything.” And the fact that the mother is just sitting there and not helping her son out by speaking up for him, makes me even more mad. It’s like they’ve always allowed her to get what she wanted when she wanted. No wonder she was behaving the way she did.

I truly hope this bride appreciated what her brother did for her. He certainly didn't have too! I paid for part of my wedding dress and my mom and sister helped with the other part and I was beyond grateful. Our budget with all our money together was 800.00 and I found one we all loved for under 400.00 the remaining money we got my maid of honor and bridesmaid each a dress in the same day and spent just under $800.00! We were so happy and I felt so much love and support that day!

Idk maybe the momma is used to spending his money as well so it didn't even faze her. I've been with my boyfriend for a year & we each pay for our own shit (aside from gifts cuz I love spoiling him since nobody ever has & he is the absolute sweetest guy I've ever met so I feel like he deserves a bit of spoiling. He'd absolutely do anything I asked him to & I know it so I'm for damn sure not going to take advantage of that sweetness). My late husband & I had a similar arrangement except for the 2 years when I was really really sick. He paid for most things during that period. I HATED it. I was raised to be fiercely independent. I just don't really get these girls that want all the men in their life to treat them almost like they are children. I'm not into asking my man for money. The day I feel ok with that is about 5 years after I've been diagnosed with dementia or something 😂 cuz it goes entirely against my personality. I hate even asking for help. In the unlikely event I accepted having my brother pay for a wedding dress for me, you had better believe that fucker would come in FAR under budget. This girl is not cute. She is actually terrible. If he spends all his money on shit like this, he won't have enough to take care of himself later. Football isn't a long term career so he should be investing the hell out of it right now so he doesn't end up in one of those documentaries where he's living in someone's basement & working a dead end job, is couch surfing on the kindness of his friends or is homeless & sleeping on a park bench. To the girl in the video (if she ever reads this): If you love your brother AT ALL, stop taking advantage of him & help him by encouraging him to invest & to plan ahead so he has a chance at having a decent future when the football money stops coming in. It's something he absolutely needs because football will end for him & so will the money from it. Get a clue girl.

The fact she said out loud that she always gets what she wants should have been a huge red flag to the rest of her family, especially her beyond sweet, generous brother. They need to make money too sweety lol plus they dont exaggerate even if it is a bit over budget hey work w the styles they got because if were being realistic the dresses that these brides want wpupd be well over 10 grand each at peast they try and flex it out depending on the style the bride wants and as they said more bling alterations and lace means more money and time spent on the dress which makes it more expensive unless you have the skills to do it yourself.

That's why I'm just gonna make my dress when the time comes. Get fabrics on sale and everything. Plus I'm a short person so it'll take less fabric. And by that time, I'll have lost a lot of weight(yes I'm talking like 10 years from now or something so perfectly reasonable that I can reach that goal)so then it'll take even less fabric. It'll be fun to say that I MADE my own dress.
