I saw the full version with Spanish subs, and if I remember right, Farouk drove the assistant home from the dinner after her encounter with her ex. That’s why he was over an hour late to meet Sureyyea and was so distant. And I think he also had the assistant buy the gift for Sureyyea, that’s why it was such a mediocre gift. He failed in many counts and he deserved what he got. He never should have gone to the dinner. My opinion 😊
