I have been a bridesmaid 3 times, and every time I had to put in a lot of effort to help the bride with planning, organizing, and also to look good for her. I am sure this is true for most bridesmaids too. I felt honored to be asked, but you have to admit that a bridesmaid would be doing you a great favor.

It's also their job to help the bride to find a dress that they feel comfortable in and can see themselves wearing on their wedding day and sometimes it means that you need to go slightly over the budget

Witch child €1500 is a big enough budget. She didn't ask for bling as such. They could have easily stayed under the budget. The ones shot in US always respect the budget and stick to it. They avoid people trying dresser over their budgets also as they understand how it sucks to not be able to afford something they love. I'm sure they can do the same. 🤷

Yes maybe we didn't hear that the bride asked for bling but she may have suggested about it and it just got cut off from the show. Also remember that the brides can say no if they think that they don't want to go over budget. Also like I said before sometimes you just have to go over budget because you may not find the dress that you want that fits your budget perfectly. Also these shops are expensive as hell so that also means that you may not be able to always stay inside of your planned budget if you really want to find a dress that you love 100%

Dubai is not like this unattainable or extremely expensive place. You can get a 5 star hotel in Dubai for only $1000 for entire week. And the flight is only $500 from Uk to Dubai. It's $1100 rtn from USA to Dubai. There are also some hotels in Dubai for $500 dollars entire week. It's all online. And the food is delicious mediterranean, asian, arabian all mixed.....and very affordable, like we went to the Gold Market and had Donairs and Shawarma's for like $1 dollar.....or less sometimes....... you can also be on the other end of the spectrum in Dubai and be paying $10,000 for one night at a 6 Star hotel, or even more......but why bother, when you can stay 2 minutes away from the 6 star hotel for alot less lol.....i went there 2 times....and can't wait to go back......so amazing, friendly, and lots of great shopping......

TBH I think the best plan is to give them a pretty high budget - I'm seeing a trend where brides with budgets of 5000 pounds get dresses under 2000 pounds and brides with budgets of 2000 pounds wind up paying 3500 pounds.

She had already tried on 7 dresses. The consultant understood she needed that wow factor. Going slightly over budget and putting her in a ball gown dress was ingenious. Knowing the dress is a little unobtainable and yet, it still being obtainable created the perfect condition for her to say yes to the dress.

I was in real estate, and clients do this on their own all the time. No sense acting as if people aren't human- show them options and let them decide.

When I shopped for a wedding dress, the consultant brought out two racks of dresses, identified as "under $____" and "over $____'). I never even looked at the "over" rack choices. I tried on all of those on the first rack and bought one. There is NO NEED to try on an over-budget dress. Period.

The bridesmaids do a lot of the 'heavy lifting' and are beside you all the way, but when it's time for YOUR wedding, excuses start coming.... The kids have the flu... Nigerians have a lot of extended family. So I can almost guarantee upwards of 50% or more of the weddings she was a bridesmaid for were due to familial connections alone.

Where did y’all grow up? In Africa we have lots of extended family and friends so it’s easy to be a bridesmaid 31 times with atleast five or six siblings atleast 50cousins and maybe another 50 set of friends from school anything is possible we value family and friendships very much
