Darkness can't be broke by darkness but it can be broken by love or the hope in you. There is always a way to get pass all the storms through your life. Its always possible to get through anything never give up. Something when you think your alone like sometimes my friend make me feel I always think of the positive. Don't drag your self into the darkness. Always someone is by your side even when your alone everything will be ok. Just never give up someone will pick you up when you fall down. There is alot of meaning through this whole song.

I was singing this to my son and I just started crying because I've gone through so much the past few years I've battled an addiction at only 16 I've lost multiple people I cared dearly about and I had a baby at 19 but my son is almost three months old and just seeing him sitting there smiling at me made me know that it was all worth it he's the best thing that could have happened to me

A few days before a new girlfriend sang this song for me and it was so awesome. I just heard the original to see how good she really was and i was so surprised, because she had sung it with much more power than Pink. I really needed this song. Sometimes this mood comes over me where I just want to give up and cave into the dark parts of my thoughts. And when this happens I tend to get angry with myself and others, but I don’t want to listen to those thoughts anymore so this song popped up in my head and I just played it and sang to it. Shame on me for not having watched Happy Feet 2 yet...I always say how glad I am that my beloved Brittany Murphy was replaced by my other beloved girl, P!nk, but I still haven't watched the second part of this wonderful movie...Now that I listened to this song for the first time, I realize it's so amazing, really, it touched my heart. my mom sent me this song. im 18 almost 19, I’ve been separated from my mom since I was 3. it’s been hard, my dad non-stop blaming me for her being gone. my grandparents being abusive, my dad drinking way too much, i would cry everyday for her to come back. I remember sitting by the window, she was holding a cigarette, I kept checking up on her to make sure she wouldn’t leave. I checked the window again and she wasn’t there, my auntie came running in and she picked me up and put me in the vehicle. I didn’t get to say bye to my mom. My life just got worse from that point, but anyways I get to see her in a month or so. countdown until I see her again! : 33 days left : .. 29 days left : I feel like shit tbh I just want to see her already.
