Due to popular demand, here is my dance remix of Bridge Zone from Sonic The Hedgehog. Download the MP3 of my remix: / download
This was originally planned as a simple remaster but a friend suggested it would be cool to turn it into a full blown dance remix similar to what i did in my Avicii inspired Lava Reef Remix: • Lava Reef Zone Remix -...
It took a bit of extra work to make it happen so i hope you'll enjoy this!
Also this is NOT a remix of "Together Again" by Janet Jackson
even though they sound really similar. According to wikipedia Janet Jackson took inspiration from the chords and melody of the bridge zone theme for her chorus.

Holy hell, the emotions this composition stirs up on its own is insane, but this remix just allows the song to shine with cleaner, more modern sounds. Job well done.

This is going to sound very weird... But I've always liked the song "Together Again" by Janet Jackson. I didn't realize it until I heard this remix of yours that, well, I think the reason I like it is because it sounds like Bridge Zone. If I'm not mistaken, it may even be in the same key. But the percussion you used in this remix definitely helped me sync it up mentally. Anyways, great job!

Well that would certainly explain things, then. And it makes me seem a little less crazy for linking the two. On a side note, what is it with the Jacksons and Sonic music? Bridge Zone and Janet, bits and pieces of Sonic 3 and Michael... It does explain why I developed a taste for pop music in the 90's, I suppose.

Wow!! Just wow! Everything is just subtle in this, not in your face, but a nice gentle blend of easy going synth sounds and bass with a nice steady dance beat. I can chill out to this on nice days and even have that nostalgia feeling!

So i can confirm that the same melody is used in puzzle bobble's title screen. The main melody is identical excluding the bridge sections from both and the modulation in puzzle bobble.
