this is my favorite show right now, i genuinely love everything about it and i love that it’s also very funny. cosmo jarvis plays anjin as a gremlin but with so much moxie you can help but root for him. also, night battle scenes we could actually see?? we are so back!!!

Just looking at everything, nature, the buildings, the clothes, the weapons. Its all beautiful and awe inspiring. The stark contrast with the death and suffering is what i believe makes both the beauty and the evil make more of an impact. Its perfect cinema in that regard. Tadanobu Asano is killing it for me. He is such a great actor. And amongst so many good actors and actresses on screen him standing out is an achievment in itself. Im not familiar with his career but he is a future oscar winner for sure. Many of the people on screen are also freat but there is just somthing about ehat he is doing that stands out to me.

After this show, you should jump straight into Blue Eye Samurai. The show is one of best I've seen in a long time!

I love this show. The best episode so far right? I remember the 1980 version, and I still cherish it, but this one adds so much in the way of production values, historical accuracy, acting, writing and dialogue. I love this episode for the relationships between the characters, but also the drama of leaving Osaka. I hope everyone is watching this, because there's more books. There could conceivably be more seasons (although fear not, this story wraps up in one book and in this season, were there any additional season my understanding is it is different characters).
