Well I have to agree with you. I have many many frames that I have kept with gold leaf and been tempted to paint them white for shabby chic look but it just didn't have the heart for it. I love gold within the shabby chic French provincial style

Your paper rose was clever! I've never seen one made that way! I think my favorite project was your tin that you got for free 🙂I got a tin of similar size and shape for free also and I painted it white and then never went back to it. Thank you for the inspiration!
