Captain Morgan's Revenge is the name of Globe's 2018 entry to the Somerset Guy Fawkes Circuit.
See what happens before, during and after the procession on carnival day.

I still find it incredible that these carnivals are free best carnivals ever!!! We travel from the Midlands but well worth it! I went to western super mare beginning of this month even in the pouring rain and gale force winds the show went on. First time I’ve ever seen the tide in at western lol

It always rains at Weston! But yes, it always goes ahead no matter what the weather. In the 19 years that I’ve been doing carnivals, I’ve only ever known a carnival to be cancelled once, and that was North Petherton a few years ago following a big accident on the M5, and the carnival route had to be left open for emergency vehicles.

I remember seeing this, I was on Bath road with friends, I loved it, especially the Cracken coming up from beneath it & the cannons too.

@@CarnivalBen Think we will try to get a space just up from the first roundabout on the A39, but if its pretty busy we'll probably head down to the Tesco Roundabout. I'll give you another shout! Haha!

Great looking cart this year Ben! Seen you at bridgy but was stood at angel place and it was a very long night so didn’t want to disturb! Maybe a Raspberry Pi running Debian next year to stop having to take your laptop?!

Frome Somerset Carnivals yeah, no prob. We’re in division 1 at Glastonbury so fairly near the front of the line up.

A very nice pcb ben! and an even greater vlog! Those motors are quite big, even with a reducer and some chain-reducer. I assume globe is using for every motor an individual inverter?

Thanks... more about that PCB in another video... The motors were not under powered, we got them working at Burnham.

Wells is 16th November... I’ll be around the cart during the day but I’m actually on the cart for that carnival, so you might not see me there.

New to your channel and i was wondering if you could do a video to possibly how to get involved as i would love to.be apart of the making of these floats, i have been following the progress of the quins last couple of years since my sister made a documentary on them.
