My grandfather is also a war veteran. 93 yrs old na siya pero malakas parin. Sayang di natuloy yung interview sakanya. Siya nalang ang nabubuhay na kasamahan ni Captain Conrado Yap dito sa Candelaria, Zambales. Salute to all our war veteran heroes!

nicko jay degway opo hanggang ngayon kinukwento ng lolo ko na si captain yap ay napaka bait. Lagi silang kinakamusta sa campo nila nung nasa korea pa sila. Pareho silang taga candelaria zambales si captain yap. At hanggang ngayon nasa lolo ko parin ang dog tag na binigay sakanila

Korean War veteran din po ang lolo ko pero nasa kamay na siya ng panginoon. Meron siyang picture kasama ang kanyang M1 Garand at kasali din sa Battle of Yultong at Battle of Hill Eerie. Totoo po na sila ang most northern troop na nakadeploy sa frontline may mga souvenir ang Lolo ko sa ancestral house nila sa kwarto na watawat ng Pilipinas na may signature ng kanyang mga kasamahan na Amerikano, Filipino at Koreano.

Muntikan ng makasama lolo ko dito sa Korean War pero isa siya sa mga lumaban sa bataan bago yun bumagsak swerte lang niya at di siya napasama sa death march isanv linya niya na di ko makakalimutan is "Pag oras mo na talaga oras mo na talaga" Kaso my Lolo past away last 2010 but still proud that I have a Lolo who is a war veteran who fights for out independence.

I feel envious of you for knowing your war vet lolo 😔 My mother told me my great granpa was also a war veteran who fought during WWII but we never met him. I could only imagine the stories he could have shared with us.

My great grandpa also fought during the Japanese Occupation but not as a part of the Phil Military. He was a guerilla fighter. He was a farmer but he volunteered to fight alongside the Phil Military and Hukbalahap(in spite of their communist roots) to drive out the Japanese. His younger friend, also a guerilla fighter, who he called "Bata" was captured during that time. His younger friend is Juan Ponce Enrile, former senator and current legal advisor to incoming president, BBM.

My grandfather is one among the troops being sent to South Korea. He's among the 10th Battalion Combat Team (BCT, who was first sent to Korea on Sept. 1950, months after the war broke out. As of present, he is still alive, and he is turning 90 years old on February . Thank you GMA Public Affairs for this feature. This will serve as an honour to all the living members Philippine Expeditionary Forces to Korea, and to those who have gone ahead during and after the Korean War! Kudos!

Bakit ganun isang tawag ng UN sa pilipinas tulong agad.. Bakit ngayon ilang beses na tayo humingi ng tulong sa UN para mababawi ang karapatan natin sa west philippine sea. Puro sulat lang walang aksyon. Dito mo talaga makikita na matulungin ang pilipinas.

Saka noon pag ang ang isang bansa nasa ilalim ng giyera ang ipinapadala ng UN ay mga sundalo, ngayon pag ang isang bansa ay tumawag sa UN ang ipinapadala ay si Angelina Jolie para lang makipagkamay sa mga biktima. Saka ngayon binabantayang mabuti ng UN kung paano pinatay ang kalaban. Iyan ang iniimbestigahan nila ng husto. Pero hindi nila pinapansin kung paano pinatay o ginahasa ang mga biktima.

Filipinos are really good in combat, plus our sizes didn't much hinder us in any terrain, the only problem of our soldiers is capacity to handle the modern day advance weapons such us Stealth Aircraft, Submarine, Laser warning receiver, and so on.

Dito saamin sa Cavite magkakaibigan kami ng mga Koreano. Kasi ang tatay nila nagtratrabaho sa EPZA Tanza. Sa subdivision namin napakadaming koreanong mga anak kaya nagiging magkaibigan kami. Maraming bata at teenagers sa hapon kami mga lalake nag babasketball yung mga koreana nag vovolleyball at mga batang korean sa playground.
