nahiya naman ang mga lumad, mangyan at negrito sa sinasabi mong the original people of our country. FYI sa mga binanggit kong tribes, hindi din sila nasakop ng mga espanyol or na impluwensya. Hindi lang ang mga Igorot sa Cordillera noh. dapat sinabi mo sa iyong statement ay "one of the original..."

Magagalit ang ibang tribo nyan pag sinabing ang original. Eh ang daming tribo sa pinas. Palagay ko langpo kaya nawala ang ibang kultura ng ibang tribe dahil madali silang nasakop sa ibang dayuhan dahil nasa patag lang, di tulad ng nasa malawak na kabundokan.

Maraming katoliko dito pero hindi dahil sa mga espanyol kundi dahil sa CICM congregation na mga Belgians..

The Philippines head hunter tribe of the mountain province. Yes ive watched the nagas of northeast india on youtube and i believe or maybe they are related to each other because of their similarities in their culture.

Igorots are austronesian, who are much like the taiwanese aborigines. The hanging coffins of sagada are similar to that of the bo from ancient south china. The rice terraces of ifugao is also like those in south china. That's because the ancestors of austronesians came from south china. Headhunting culture is present in every culture back in the days, just depends on the timing.

True, some examples are head hunting, tattoos on the body, chewing betel nuts, songs and dances, and other material culture. I am from Ifugao here in the cordillera.

We love our own dialect but we speak more English. Haha. Elitista lang eh. First of all, languages po hindi dialect.

For example, Tagalog, Iloko (or ilocano), Kankanaey etc are languages. Dialect, however, is a variation of a language and have mutual intelligibility (meaning, maiintindihan mo padin). For example, Tagalog Bulacan and Tagalog Manila. Mas malalim ang tagalog sa bulacan pero maiintindihan padin siya ng taong natuto ng tagalog manila. Highland iloko and lowland iloko are also dialects. Pati Benguet Kankanaey at Mt. Province Kan kanaey. Ang dialect, may pagkakaiba lang sa pronunciation or sa ibang words pero maiintindihan mo padin. Languages,, you won't understand each other. Hindi magkakaintindihan ang Kankanaey at Bisaya for example.
