The look is AMAZING... but the clarity of this and the lighting!!!! I have struggled like crazy with the lighting. I know cameras are a big part and I have 2 good ones buttt, PLEASE do a video on the lighting setup. Like how far are they, which you use and ur camera setting and such :) Xo

Yasssss! Jaclyn I have been after those rectangle light panels you're using. I remember someone said you were "reading off a TelePrompTer" lmao. I knew it was your soft boxes and light panels, because I had seen the pic on Instagram you posted before you took it down. I neeeeed them. I'm stuck between those that you have and a ring light. I feel like the ring lights are played out even though I still want one KIND OF lol! Your lighting is the best, though.

I just saw Jaclyn's snap about people bitching at her for using a foundation brush from Morphe. WTF is wrong with people? She uses Morphe all the time, if you want to hate that she uses the brand, that basically means you hate a major part of what she does and loves. Maybe just quit watching her. Also, that means you've clearly never tried the brand, because its really great for the price. Also, I personally use that brush. And its AWESOME. She didn't lie. Jaclyn, I know its you tube and we only see a portion of your life, but you seem like the most together girl, like the girl that has it all! and on top of being unbelievably gorgina, you have the sweetest biggest heart and are just as beautiful inside. You are literally an inspiration. I know its dumb but its like having a real friend, as you get older and have kids, your two year old is like your only friend and she certainly doesnt have makeup tips and fashion advice for me! Look I'll admit, I started watching Jaclyn a while ago and at first I was like woah this girl is kinda overwhelming. But I quickly became absolutely OBSESSED with her. She's happy and bubbly and fun and I don't see what's wrong with that. You can see that over the course of her videos she becomes more comfortable in front of the camera and her personality grows. And honestly I love the fact that she is loud and confident, it makes her seem genuine. Beauty gurus have become increasingly popular here on KZfaq, and it really sets her apart from all of the others because she is so outgoing. So let her be herself!

It looks really similar to the color I use. Check out loreal hi color intense reds. (I use magenta and garnet) Oh and to keep it longer, I try to only wash my hair once a week and use a sulfate free shampoo.

+Ella Vee Hey girl! She uses the infiniti brand called "red" in the b.red line and mizes it with the 4.66 infiniti aka "intense veronese red" I hope this helps! This was the one she posted on snapchat for her super red hair. To make it not as bright and the color she has when its darker she adds in infiniti 3.0 "Dark brown" let me know if that is what you wanted!

After watching this video on repeat for over a year now I JUST JUST finally tried the look out!!!! I've been watching Jaclyn's videos since she first started KZfaq, I had started breaking out reallyy badly and still have horrible acne scars to this day. She taught me how to do my makeup but I've never tried an eye look until now!! Trying this look out for the first time was super discouraging until the end when my entire face was beat, so anyone else out there reading this, KEEP TRYING AND PRACTICING, you WILL get better!! Jaclyn, I've been looking for a tutorial using Mac's electric blue eye shadow or any blue really but can't seem to find anything that I like. Hi Jaclyn! I am a HUGE fan of yours. Back in the fall when your Gerard cosmetics 1995 lipstick came out, I immediately purchased it because I mean obviously 💁🏼. About a month after purchasing it, the lipstick broke at the base. Initially I thought I had maybe pushed to hard, so I purchased another of course. The color is perfect! Around January it broke for a second time and I knew it wasn't my fault this time as I was SUPER careful with it. I contacted Gerard Cosmetics to let them know what had happened and they promptly sent me a new one! I was thinking that third times the charm and I would be even more careful with this one! Unfortunately today it broke at the base for a THIRD time. I decided to contact the creator, miss Jaclyn Hill herself. I was just so upset that my fav lipstick was so poorly packaged 😪 I just thought I would let you know! Thank you for taking the time to read this! Also, I know how to use a lipstick the correct way and don't twist it all the way up or apply tons of pressure. This has never happened to any of my other lipsticks but 3 times with the same brand. I still have the second one and this one that's broken for proof. Thanks again Jaclyn! ❤️ ❤️

+Samantha DeMuro Oh Mac and Nars are my fav lippies! But being a die hard Jaclyn fan, I just had to try the 1995. I actually emailed her letting her know and her mom emailed back saying I wasn't using the lipstick correctly... This has never happened before with any other lipstick and I think I know how to apply lipstick 😂 But thank you for your help!

I've actually purchased the tom ford bronzer brush a long time ago after watching one her other makeup tutorials. She tells no lies because that brush is so amazing and soft as can be! I love it.
