I described my son as being in lala land most of the time. Very creative and talented and bright. But SOOO dreamy and lala. I think he is the third kind of kid. This is going to help me so much in our homeschool. I took him out of school and he is so much happier. I am a fast talker though so staying patient is a struggle! what I think after hearing the first 2 parts. is that the kids with slower processing speed are just unlucky that they aren't the norm, since if the majority of the population had slow processing speed then it would be the fast thinkers who are badly labeled as hyper and impatient instead of the slow thinker being labeled as slow and lazy. so the norm(majority) decides what gets valued the most and those that don't match those values are the ones labeled as handicapped and will be forced by society to try and improve or compensate for their shortcomings for the rest of their lives.
